COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream
COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream is formulated with 92% Snail Secretion Filtrate (also called snail mucin or snail slime) to soothe irritated, sensitized skin, especially after breakouts or acne.
It hydrates and moisturizes the skin, which helps strengthen the skin barrier.
This Korean moisturizer is perfect for dry skin, damaged, red or irritated skin, or those dealing with hyperpigmentation, dark spots, or acne scars. It has a gel-cream consistency and that tell-tale slimy (but not sticky) texture!
It is hypoallergenic and formulated without parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrance, and artificial colorants.
It’s not vegan due to the snail mucin in the product, but COSRX is a cruelty-free brand. COSRX, its suppliers, or third-parties don’t test the brand’s products or ingredients on animals.
COSRX notes that the snails that produce the snail mucin are placed in a dark, quiet room on a mesh and allowed to move around and leave their mucin in their wake. No external pressure or process is applied to force the snail mucin production.

Snail Secretion Filtrate: Snail Secretion Filtrate is a skin-repairing ingredient that contains protein, glycolic acid, and elastin. It also has antioxidant properties that protect the skin from free radicals that damage collagen, which can lead to fine lines and wrinkles.
Snail mucin boosts cell regeneration while it strengthens the skin barrier to reduce acne breakouts, fade acne scars, and improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.
Snail secretion filtrate has even been shown to improve the look of fine lines on photoaged skin.
Betaine: Betaine is a humectant and amino acid derived from sugar beets that moisturizes while treating flaky, dry skin. It is an osmolyte, which is a compound that helps protect skin cells against stress.
Arginine: An amino acid and building block of proteins like collagen and elastin, which improve skin elasticity for firmer-looking skin. Arginine also benefits the skin by bringing in moisture, which provides hydration to the skin and strengthens the skin barrier.
Sodium Hyaluronate: Also known as hyaluronic acid, this popular skincare ingredient is a natural component of skin that is found between skin cells and helps to plump up the skin and moisturize it.
Allantoin: Allantoin is a skin-soothing and skin-conditioning agent that comes from the comfrey plant. It has exfoliating properties, promotes skin regeneration, and has anti-irritant properties.
Panthenol: Panthenol is a form of vitamin B5 that helps to improve the look and feel of skin by strengthening moisture levels, plumping up the skin to help decrease the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and moisturizing dry skin.
Adenosine: Adenosine is an anti-inflammatory ingredient that has healing and reparative properties.
It replenishes the skin barrier and might even help stimulate collagen production, which results in firmer skin with a decrease in the appearance of visible signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles.
COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream Review
COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream has a creamy consistency and is milky white in color with a thin texture.
I’ve never used a moisturizer that was so stringy and sticky-looking before and didn’t have high hopes for it, but once applied, the cream melted into my skin without any stickiness or greasiness.
My skin texture felt smoother, softer, and hydrated.
Another plus is that the cream is pretty lightweight once it absorbs into my skin, which makes it easy to work into a multiple-step skincare routine that uses many layers of products.
I really like the cream’s moisturizing properties. I look at the anti-aging benefits as a bonus. It has a very short ingredients list without any irritants, which is something I look for in a skincare product.
Another bonus is that it pairs really well with my favorite COSRX product: the best-selling COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence.
I would recommend this moisturizing cream if you’re looking for a moisturizer that will help with hydration, fading acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, especially if you have sensitive skin, dry, or acne-prone skin.
It’s also great for sensitized skin from overdoing it on strong actives like retinol or exfoliating acids.
DRAWBACKS
The slimy texture may unappealing to some. If you get past the gooey, stringy texture, you can appreciate how hydrating and soothing this K-Beauty moisturizer is!
Also, I think it would be less messy if it came in a pump container instead of a jar.

How To Use COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream
After cleansing, toning, and applying any skincare serums or treatments, apply this moisturizer to your face, avoiding your mouth and delicate eye area. Gently tap your skin to help with absorption. Use in the AM and/or PM.
In your morning skincare routine, be sure to follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
Although this product is very gentle on the skin, be sure to patch test this or any new skincare product before applying it to your skin for the first time.

Overall, I am very happy with this moisturizing cream. It’s lightweight and absorbs into my skin quickly without making it feel greasy or leaving any sticky residue behind.
I reach for it often when my skin is dry and irritated.
It has a short, no-nonsense ingredient list, and every active ingredient in this snail cream is included to either moisturize, repair, or hydrate the skin and target skin concerns like dryness and irritation.
It moisturizes well, so it works great in my evening skincare routine, but I have used it under my makeup with great results, too.
