There is quite a bit of focus on anti-aging skincare products for the face, but what about the neck?

The skin on your neck is just as susceptible to aging as the skin on your face, so it’s important to give it some extra TLC by using the same type of products on your neck as you would on your face.

Drmtlgy Advanced Neck Cream: Key Ingredients

Shea Butter: Shea butter gives the cream that luxe, nourishing feel. Shea butter is known for its ability to hydrate and nourish dry skin.

It’s also an antioxidant, so this ingredient helps your skin to fight the visible signs of aging by protecting the skin from environmental stress.

Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP: Ceramides! Ceramides are lipids found naturally in our skin that help to maintain the skin’s moisture barrier.

When our skin’s ceramide levels are low, we are more susceptible to dryness, irritation, and inflammation. As we age, our ceramide levels naturally decline, so it’s helpful to replenish them topically.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: Peptides are short chains of amino acids that are the building blocks of protein. They play an important role in our skin’s structure and function and are anti-aging actives in this cream.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 are the duo better known as Matrixyl 3000. These peptides have been shown to decrease wrinkle depth, density, and skin roughness while improving skin elasticity and tone.

Vitamin E: Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that has multiple benefits for the skin. It’s an antioxidant, so it helps to protect the skin from environmental stressors like pollution and UV radiation.

It also helps to repair the skin barrier and reduce inflammation.

Apple Fruit Extract: Apple fruit extract is rich in polyphenols, which are antioxidants that help to protect the skin from environmental stress.

I’ve been on the hunt for a neck cream for aging skin that would help with the dryness, crepey skin, and overall loss of firmness that comes with aging.

I was excited to try Drmtlgy Advanced Neck Cream because it contains some effective anti-aging and skin protective ingredients like peptides and ceramides but does not contain potent actives like retinol or acids that could be too harsh on the delicate skin on my neck when used daily.

Drmtlgy Advanced Neck Cream comes in a generous 1.8 oz pump bottle and has a luxurious texture that easily glides onto my skin and absorbs quickly without any stickiness or greasiness.

It leaves the skin on my neck and decollete feeling hydrated, plump, soft, and smooth.

I’ve been using it for about a month now and have noticed an improvement in the overall appearance of the skin on my neck.

I feel like it has helped to smooth out the crepey skin texture on my neck and the “necklace lines” that come along with spending way too much time on my phone.

After using it daily, whenever I touch the skin on my neck, I feel that it’s much softer, smoother, and very moisturized.

Although the cream is fragrance-free, I detect a slight scent from natural ingredients and oils.

I love that it doesn’t contain harsh actives like exfoliating acids or retinol since the delicate skin on my neck is pretty sensitive.

But the formula contains other actives like peptides which help to stimulate collagen production for firmer skin and repair the skin barrier.

I’m happy with the results I’ve seen so far and will continue to use it as part of my morning and evening skincare routines.

Even though it’s an extra step in my skin care routine, the large pump bottle makes it super easy to dispense and apply just the right amount.

I apply it in an upward motion towards my jawline on my neck and decollete after moisturizing my face.

Drmtlgy Advanced Neck Cream is formulated for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Drawbacks? Keep in mind you won’t see immediate dramatic results, and you’ll need to be consistent to see improvement. And although it’s a bit pricey, a little goes a long way.

How To Use Drmtlgy Advanced Neck Cream

Apply this rich neck cream to a clean neck. Apply in an upward movement toward your jawline, and let absorb before applying any other products.

You can use the neck cream twice a day.

NOTE: While much importance is made of using sunscreen on your face every day, it’s also more important to use sunscreen on your neck and decollete because they, too, may be exposed to the damaging effects of the sun.

So, after using this cream during the day, be sure to follow up with sunscreen with at least SPF 30 on your neck and decollete to avoid sun damage if these areas will be exposed to the sun.
