Klairs Skincare Review
Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser
Ideal for irritated and dry skin, Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser improves hydration to support a healthy skin barrier. It also helps to reduce redness and the look of pores for a healthy-looking complexion.
This Korean cleanser is loaded with anti-inflammatory and soothing actives like aloe vera extract, tea tree oil, Centella asiatica extract, and Scutellaria baicalensis (Skullcap) root extract.
Beta-glucan and panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) moisturize and calm the skin.
Licorice root extract helps brighten your skin tone, while Daucus carota sativa root extract (carrot root oil) is an antioxidant that protects and replenishes the skin.
This Klairs product is formulated to condition your skin and balance its pH level without leaving it tight or dry like harsh soaps and detergents.
It comes in a pump like a foaming hand wash that makes it easy to apply.
The gentle cleansing foam sinks into my skin and provides an immediate boost in hydration.
This foaming cleanser is very moisturizing and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry, but rather comfortable, soft, and smooth.
I don’t use this to remove my makeup, but I use it to clean my skin after using a cleansing balm to remove my makeup.
It’s the perfect second step of a two-step double cleansing routine and is ideal for dry or sensitive skin.
It’s an excellent option for those colder winter months when your skin is feeling parched and dehydrated.

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner is formulated with active ingredients and botanical extracts to hydrate, moisturize and balance the skin’s pH.
Sodium hyaluronate, the salt form of hyaluronic acid, hydrates the skin while acting as a humectant. It attracts water from the air, binding it to the skin for lasting hydration.
Beta-glucan, a compound found in the cell walls of many plants, is proven to improve skin resilience and moisture. Centella asiatica extract is a soothing and healing plant extract that has anti-inflammatory benefits.
Licorice root extract offers brightening and anti-inflammatory benefits. Panthenol and aloe vera calm and moisturize the skin.
Copper Tripeptide-1 offers antioxidant and calming benefits.
All these ingredients together create a super moisturizing facial toner for irritated skin and dry skin types.
This Korean toner is probably one of the most hydrating and moisturizing toners I’ve ever tried.
As the weather gets cooler and my skin experiences areas of dryness, I’ve been reaching for this toner to replenish my skin. It’s particularly helpful after I overdo it with potent actives like retinol.
Please note that the toner I tested contains multiple essential oils for an added herbal fragrance, but this Klairs toner also comes in an unscented version.
Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum
Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum is so popular that 1.2 bottles of this serum are sold every minute.
The serum contains stabilized pure Vitamin C (also known as l-ascorbic acid or ascorbic acid) to brighten dull skin, reduce the look of enlarged pores, smooth the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and provide antioxidant protection against oxidative stress.
The concentration of vitamin C in this serum is 5%, which makes it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Higher concentrations of Vitamin C can cause tingling, irritation, redness, dryness, or stinging, but the low concentration in this serum avoids those unwanted side effects.
Centella asiatica extract and Skullcap root extract have anti-inflammatory properties that soothe the skin and aid in healing.
Please note that there is added fragrance in this serum.
This is the lowest concentration of pure vitamin C that I’ve ever tried. It’s gentle on my skin, non-greasy, and feels weightless under makeup, so I think this would benefit normal, combination, and oily skin types.
I love using this in the morning to protect against damage from the UV rays of the sun.
This is an affordable vitamin C serum ideal for sensitive skin that can’t tolerate stronger concentrations of pure ascorbic acid.

Klairs Sheet Masks
Like all Dear, Klairs products, these sheet masks are formulated to soothe dry, irritated, and damaged skin.
They come in two pieces: one piece that covers your forehead to just under your nose, and another piece that covers your lower face, and chin.
This allows for a more precise placement of the masks.
Both masks stay on your face without slipping off but are soaked in enough serum to provide excellent hydration.
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask targets irritation and redness.
Glycerin, betaine, and arginine moisturize the skin. Dipotassium glycyrrhizate balances oil production and has anti-inflammatory properties. Willow bark extract offers soothing and astringent benefits.
Centella asiatica extract is an antioxidant that soothes burns, cuts, and scrapes, thanks to its anti-inflammatory benefits. It can even stimulate hyaluronic acid production, helping to improve hydration and moisture.
This mask is made out of bamboo charcoal to draw out impurities from pores, making it ideal for those with enlarged pores.
The mask has cooling effects due to erythritol, which helps to lower the skin’s temperature. This makes this mask the perfect go-to after a sunburn.
It’s very cooling, and the serum is lightweight and non-sticky. After about 15 minutes, I remove the mask and massage the remaining serum into my skin.
Between the two masks, I think this mask would be more suitable for normal to combination or oily skin due to the oil balancing and astringent benefits.
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask is another Klairs sheet mask that is a savior for dry, irritated skin.
It soothes and moisturizes with five ceramides and lipids (Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP, phytosphingosine, and cholesterol) that work together to hydrate the skin and support a healthy skin barrier.
Aloe vera, allantoin, and Centella asiatica soothe the skin. Panthenol and sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) help the skin retain moisture. The dual-layered sheet mask is 100% cotton and tencel for comfort and to minimize irritation.
The sheet mask is drenched in a soothing serum that is very hydrating. The mask is made of a soft cotton material that stays put once applied.
After about 15 minutes, I removed it to find super hydrated and plump skin. I left the residual serum on my face overnight for additional moisture.
While sheet masks aren’t my favorite skincare product since they can be messy and time-consuming, I would use this mask again as a treatment for sensitized and irritated skin.
I liked both of the Klairs sheet masks that I tried. They are well made, stay put and provide excellent hydration and nourishment.
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream is all about a healthy skin barrier, as this moisturizer works to strengthen the skin’s protective layer to keep irritants out and moisture in.
Glycerin, shea butter, and jojoba seed oil moisturize the skin. Centella asiatica, Skullcap root extract, and purslane extracts are skin-protective antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory benefits.
Perfect for dry, irritated, and damaged skin, beta-glucan forms a film on the skin to support wound healing. It can even improve wrinkles and skin roughness.
The silky-smooth fragrance-free cream is lightweight and non-greasy. I’ve been using this cream over the past several months when my skin is irritated.
It absorbs easily and really goes to work on my dehydrated and flaky skin. It is so soothing and always calms my skin.
This Dear Klairs product would be the perfect cream for normal skin dealing with dehydration during the winter months or dry and irritated skin year-round.
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is an intensive soothing and calming cream for sensitive skin. It is formulated with several actives that reduce inflammation and support healing, and relieve redness.
It can also be used after excessive sun exposure to soothe sunburns.
Centella asiatica extract has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing benefits for the skin. Guaiazulene from chamomile oil calms the skin.
Argan oil, considered Morocco’s “liquid gold”, along with glycerin, shea butter, and jojoba seed oil, moisturize and nourish the skin.
Midnight Blue Calming Cream really lives up to its name as this blue-tinted moisturizer is very calming. But don’t worry, it won’t leave you looking like a smurf.
The blue tint fades once it is absorbed into your skin. The cream is lightweight and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily or greasy.
I used this fragrance-free moisturizer along with the Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser and Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner on an evening when my skin was dry, tight, and sensitized from overuse of retinol.
The following day, my skin was no longer tight, and the sensitivity was just about gone.
It’s a very soothing cream that will stay in my skincare rotation. Please see this post for my complete review.

Dear, Klairs is a gentle yet effective Korean skincare brand. While I have somewhat sensitive skin, these products were incredibly calming and soothing and can benefit any skin type.
Klairs products would be fantastic for someone struggling with dry, irritated, damaged, or sensitive skin or those dealing with skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis.
While I still like to incorporate stronger actives into my skincare routine like retinol and glycolic acid, these are the perfect products to pair with those potent actives to soothe any irritation and redness.
